ISI/IDI Rod Seal is the most critical seal on any type of fluid power equipment preventing leakage of fluid from within the cylinder to the outside. Besides, Leakage through the IDI Rod Seal can reduce equipment performance. And also in extreme cases can cause environmental issues and therefore it is vitally important to choose the correct rod seal type and design to suit a particular appliion.

Concept Seal manufactures Rod Seals with or without anti-extrusion rings. To prevent the leakage of fluid material and ensure the sealing in hydraulic cylinders Rod Seals are used. To provide maximum sealing, Rod Seals are used which are placed inside the guide head and operates in opposition to the rod. Rod Seals stops the flow towards outside which increases the performance of the cylinder. Materials used for rod seals are (EPM, EPDM, EPR): Ethylene Propylene,( FKM, , Fluorel): Fluorocarbon,(HSN, HNBR): Highly Saturated Nitrile, Nitrile (Buna-N), Fabric and Rubber, PTFE (Teflon), Urethane, etc.
